Arctic Communications Infrastructure Assessment Project

In partnership with Imaituk Inc., co-authored the Arctic Communications Infrastructure Assessment (ACIA), a pan-territorial communications infrastructure assessment. The project was initiated by the Northern Communications and Information Systems Working Group (NCIS-WG) for the purpose of identifying existing resources and infrastructure, future requirements and the corresponding gaps. Telecommunications are the lifeblood of modern government and commerce in Canada’s territories and the results of the project led to several legislative changes improving the quality of those services.
